Likho › Leave application
Write the reason the way you'd say it: "sir kal chutti chahiye, ammi ki tabiyat theek nahi". Likho turns it into a proper leave application for your office, school or college. Pick Email for a formal application or WhatsApp for a quick message to your boss.
Keep it to three lines: the date, the reason and a thank-you. For example: "Dear Sir, I would like to request leave for tomorrow, 9 October, as I have a doctor's appointment. Thank you for your understanding." Type your reason in Roman Urdu above and Likho writes it for you.
For a day or two, many managers accept a WhatsApp message. For longer leave, or if your office or school asks for a written application, send it by email. Use the WhatsApp / Email switch above to get the right format.
In a formal application: "I would like to request leave." In a friendly message to your manager: "Could I take the day off tomorrow?" Avoid "I want holiday", which sounds rude in English.
If your office has leave types such as casual, sick or annual leave, name the one you are applying for, because HR counts them separately. If you are not sure, just write "leave".
Yes. Say who it is for (beta or beti), the class if you like, how many days and why, e.g. "meri beti class 4 mein hai, kal school nahi aayegi, shaadi pe jana hai". Likho writes it as a parent's leave application.
